((Superhero!AU))
The be-masked man gagged slightly, giving a small snort as he images poured into his head. “Enjoying seeing me in a dress?” As he said this he smirked, reaching into the others’ mind, very intently changing what would’ve been his visage into that of an elderly woman. “Very creative though, I must say- I enjoyed how muscular you made me.”
“Indubitably so.” Cerebrum chuckled, his voice light and about as playful as it could get. “I most likely shouldn’t be telling you this, as it is one of my greatest weaknesses… It’s right up there with Polkadots and Neon Orange.”
“It would depend on how stupid you were about it.” Came the blunt reply, “If you hit it wrong, everyone in a fifty-mile radius is frozen to death. Rather ingenious, since it will probably make you a little more careful don’t you think? I tested it on mice with marvelous results.” A few more buttons pushed. “If you must fail, as the saying goes, Fail spectacularly!”“I’d prefer to see you out of it…” Cailean remarked, sending a sly wink at Cerebrum. He was of course /joking/, there was no way he could ever fall for his super villain. He was pretty sure that that broke every rule in the super hero rule book… If there was such a book. If not, he would have to make one.
Rule One: Do not fall for your super villain (or imagine them naked).
He pulled a face when the image in mind was tampered with. Less because the elderly woman made him want to gag and more because his mind was being altered and there was nothing he could do about it. The helplessness scared him, so he pushed off of the machine, landing softly beside the shorter villain.
“Pokedots and neon orange hey? Remind me… or at least don’t delete it out of my mind - and I’ll edit my super suit when I get home…” Cailean trailed off, reaching into his back pocket. “I knew I was missing something” he mumbled, pulling on the mask that was supposed to hide his identity. He seemed to forget it more and more these days, where as he’d never seen his ‘counterpart’ without it.
“Now that I have this… the day can be saved~” Cailean grinned, moving to examine the buttons.
Cerebrum only laughed in response, shaking his head. “Are you implying that I’d let you in the middle of a Scheme, and before I’ve been courted properly? Darling, I’m insulted. I demand at least one date before you even get to see me with my boots off.” He chimed quietly, making his voice mock-sultry towards the end, smirking a little, returning the teasing.
The shorter sighed quietly. “Calm your mind, I was only doing it because you sent it to me first, Even I have some form of integrity…. Plus you can’t deny that woman was rather attractive.”
“I don’t know.” Came the slow reply, voice seemingly cautious. “It seems like a bad idea to let you leave with two of my weaknesses in your mind…” Cerebrum paused mid-sentence to laugh, scooting over to actually allow him a look- Knowing fully well he wouldn’t be able to understand them, nor manually change where it was targeted. “I don’t understand why you even still wear it- Everyone knows who you are.”
