Cerebrum gave a small yawn as he sat on the roof of his base, not quite thinking of anything in particular. He was simply enjoying the Late afternoon breeze that sent his hair skittering across his mask which he’d still not removed, reaching into the minds of those that passed below him in ignorance; they spoke on cellphones and scolded their children for spilling icecream on themselves, and he was at peace.
With a soft sigh he allowed his eyes to close, not that it mattered, but it felt nice to keep them shut. It was a good way to end a rather taxing day.

It had been a rather Good day thus far, Cerebrum had decided to himself as he strolled around his headquarters, pointedly ignoring the muffled protests of his Hostages. He’d managed to not only successfully rob a high-security bank and kidnap the employees, but also finish his newest experiment: A large ray designed to Freeze everything in a fifty mile radius. He had not included a self-destruct button nor was it controlled by remote. He was a genius, After all, and wouldn’t fall prey to the Stereotypes many others of his position had fallen victim to.
At age, Twenty, Cerebrum was by far the most Prominent supervillain in at least five years, a title which he openly expressed pride.

The Telepath then huffed; Everything had been going according to plan, he knew for a fact that everyone for the next few cities had heard of his actions, judging by the amount of police officers he could feel crowding his building.

And yet, as always, HE was late.
